Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used. We only set non-essential cookies if you say yes.

What cookies do we use?

We use three kinds.

Strictly necessary. These make the site work and remember your cookie choices. They don't need consent, and you can't switch them off in our settings (you can block them in your browser, but parts of the site may then not work).

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read and how they found us. These cookies are only set after you accept analytics cookies. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising.

Third-party. Our get in touch page includes a Calendly booking calendar so you can book a free 30-minute briefing. The calendar only loads when you click "Show available times". Calendly may then set its own cookies, which are controlled by Calendly, not us.

Cookie Set by Type What it does How long it lasts
__cf_bm Cloudflare Strictly necessary Helps tell people from bots and protect the site from abuse (only if Cloudflare bot protection is on) 30 minutes
_ga Google Analytics Analytics (consent needed) Distinguishes one visitor from another using a random ID 2 years
_ga_4F36V5NG6N Google Analytics Analytics (consent needed) Keeps track of your session 2 years
Calendly cookies Calendly Third-party Make the booking calendar work and remember your session. See Calendly's cookie notice. Set by Calendly

How do I change my choice?

You can change your mind at any time:

  • On this site: use the cookie settings on our site to switch analytics cookies on or off at any time.
  • In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Your browser's help pages explain how.
  • Google Analytics: Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

If you'd rather not load Calendly, don't click "Show available times". Email us to arrange a time instead.
